THE INITIAL CONSULTATION.
Your first step with us? We book you in for a Strategy Session. Far from a generic discovery call, this is a comprehensive initial consultation with our Principal Lawyer to understand exactly where you are and, more importantly, where you want to be.
Here is how we do it:
The Pre-Work: You complete a client questionnaire beforehand so we don't waste a single minute asking basic questions.
The Deep Dive: Armed with our experience, insight, and knack for Australian migration law, we chat through the specifics of your matter, identify risks, and clarify your concerns in a half-hour online meeting.
The Blueprint: We outline exactly how we can help, and follow up with a written Visa Strategy and fixed-fee Cost Estimate.
From the outset, our fees and our approach to your visa application are structured, clear, and transparent. How great is that?!

THE WORK BEGINS.
Strategy and fees approved? Great - we thought you’d like what we have to say!
Once you officially engage THE MIGRATION STUDIO., we step on in and take over - streamlining your Australian visa application or migration matter, and removing the overwhelm.
Here is what happens next:
Secure Onboarding: We set you up in our client portal and let you know the exact documents and information we need.
Streamlined Prep: We provide a wealth of guidance and custom templates to make the collection process as easy for you as possible.
Strategic Curation: We take the heavy lifting off your plate, using your documents to build a robust, policy-backed legal argument tailored specifically to your visa subclass.

Once the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed, we provide a copy of your entire application for your approval, so that you know exactly what is being submitted to the Australian Department of Home Affairs. You review it, and once we get the thumbs up, we lodge.
While your visa is processing, we don't just sit back:
Total Management: We keep an eye out for any Department correspondence and handle it on your behalf.
Proactive Monitoring: We monitor your file for anything that we can do to make your application decision-ready.
The Next Move: We wait with as much anticipation as you for your visa grant! Once approved, we’re celebrating with you, but we're also probably onto the next part of your migration strategy. Like calculating when you’ll become eligible for PR or citizenship - we honestly can’t help ourselves.

FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL LAWYER.Jess is TMS.’ resident legal eagle and regular breaker of the coffee machine.
She’s spent years working in private immigration law firms (and non-migration roles in government), handling high-stakes matters that demand strategy, precision and problem-solving. She’s pretty proud of her reputation as a smart, trusted and reliable advisor.
Jess started TMS to do law differently: boldly, with personality, integrity, transparency and pizzazz. Clients love her because she cuts through the red tape, spots risks early and delivers advice that’s honest, practical and (maybe a bit) sassy. She genuinely thinks she has the best job in the world - helping lovebirds reunite, families stay together and people land opportunities to build their lives in Australia. And you can see that in her work.
When she's not trying to keep up with her two dogs and her one year old, her nose is in a book, her eyes are on some sort of reality show, and her dreams are in Italy.

Having most recently worked for an American multinational, Leo is across the big-picture strategy and the nitty-gritty details. He brings a corporate level efficiency to our boutique firm - ensuring that systems are slick, your data is secure, and we're embracing tech to streamline your experience.
